I was surprised to find this. I was stationed at the Shelton Nike Site from October 1958 until we finally shut it down the end of July 1961. I looked thru your guest book and didn't see any of the other people I was with. We are all pretty old now. (I am 72). A lot of the guys married local girls and stayed in the Shelton area after they got out of the service. I think if you went to newspapers in that area and made your site known you would get some good responces. I'll check back and good luck.

One such facility was right under my nose for decades and I never knew it. Creepy, man. Great idea, and thanks for researching and preserving the history.

My older brother Donald Hamilton was an Armed Security Officer who committed suicide ON THE JOB on the morning of August 28, 1985 while working at this site... If you or someone you know worked there I would really like to hear from you. My cellular # is 860-798-0645 Thank-you, Ward Hamilton
