HELP..anyone who can give me information for the site in New Britain, Rocky Hill Rd. But I know there was a smaller one on Ellis St. HA-HQ. Our school was Smith Elementary school which overlooked this site. At nite we heard the ground doors open and closed. Helicopters would fly over our backyard, small ones and banana boat copters. I am not able to find any info on this site. Pls contact me...

I was stationed at East Windsor from 1961 to 1964.I was the supervisor of the K9 unit. We provided night time security at the launch site.It was good duty. I actually worked two of the dogs in the photos, Lucky and Smokey

Back in the '70s I worked in a NY Telephone L3 carrier facility that was under control of NARCO in Cheshire. When they got on the horn, we had to drop EVERYTHING. Today, my daughter lives in Cheshire. I see when I drive by that it's still an active AT&T worksite. Little is visible from the road, however.
