WICH Bomb Shelter

WICH-AM in Norwich, CT has a government-built bomb shelter under their original studio building which is located at their transmitter site.? It originally contained a Western Electric radio console, barrels of supplies and two wall-mounted, fold down sleeping cots.? The shelter was turned into a functional modern studio a number of years ago.?? We toured the facility in August, 2010.
